Bhaskar Routh
Faculty of Eastern & Western Dance
Bhaskar is a Masters in Bharatnatyam from Rabindra Bharati and presently pursuing his PHD in Bharat Natyam.
His Gurus
- His Bharatnatyam Guru was Sri Khagendranath Barman.
- His Kathakali Guru is Goutam Ghoshal.
- He was an active member of Sapphire Creations Dance Troup with which he performed in many national and international shows.
Experience in dance for more than 25 years in the fields of Bollywood, Contemporary, authentic Indian Classical, Folk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Salsa, Ballet etc.
Worked under national and international choreographers like Remo DeSOuza, Birju Maharaj, Michelle Kasnovas, Christopher, Rozer, Astad Dabu, Alokananda Roy.His dance took him to Singapore, Thailand, Srilanka from where he carried back huge knowledge about their dance forms which he generously shares amongst his students.Winning choreographer of Dhoom Macha Le in ETV and Dancing Star in Star Jalsa.Worked as a choreographer in reality shows like, Dance Bangla Dance in Zee TV, Jhalak Dikh La Ja in Colours, Street Dance in Sananda TV, Takkar in ETV, in this show he trained Manik Paul who latter became the winner of India’s Got Talent.He worked as a choreographer in Bengali films like Arohon, Risk, Jodi Ekdin, System, Advut Cottage.He works as a choreographer in television award shows in many national level AD films, As Judge in many reality shows/competitions.He provides opportunities to his students wherever he finds suitable scope.
Payel Ghosh
Faculty of Eastern & Western Dance
Payel Ghosh is one of our very eligible Eastern Dance faculty. She is M.A in Kathak, an B.A in Manipuri Dance from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.
She has also specialised in all form of Indian Folk Dance like Purilia Chhou, Santali, Jhumur, Kalhari etc.
She has the privileged to get training from Pandit Shri Birju Maharaj. Dr. Madhumita Roy, Dr. Anita Dutta and Kajal Bose in Kathak. Ballet from Mamata Shankar and Bharatnatyam from Prof. Kohinoor Sen Barat.
She was the champion of Sansui Boogie Boogie.
She worked as a choreographer in various reality shows in ZEE Bangla, Rooposhi Bangla, ETV Bangla, in Bengali film Shikari, R Plus Mahalaya in 2014, Dance Bangla Dance, Jhalak Dikh la Ja, Mahalaya in Akash 2018.
She works as a guest choreographer in Loreto Convent School in Kolkata.
She has immense experience as a choreographer and teacher and imparts training with passion & dedication. Her ever smiling and jolly nature adds to her qualities and for this she loved by all students.
Hunny Singh
Faculty of Western Dance and Zumba
Hunny is born & brought up in Jamshedpur and is one of the best choreographer of Jamshedpur. He has worked in many Bengali movies and shows in television. He is specialized in Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Urban, Lyrical, Bollywood, Bhangra, Free Style etc.
Satish
Faculty of Western Dance
Satish sir has a style of his own which includes Hip-Hop, Locking, Popping and Bollywood. He is a very sincere teacher and strict at times, students have improved a lot since he joined.
Shrikanto Pal (Shri)
Faculty of Bboying, Zumba and Western Dance
Our B Boying faculty has a good name “Shrikanto Pal” which very few actually know, as he is popularly known as “B Boy Shri”. He is also a ZUMBA trainer and Western dance instructor. He has gathered many feather to his cap, the following are a few of them;
1 – Skillz India B Boy qualifiers 1st place ( Mumbai 2016 )
2 – Redbull Bcone Kolkata qualifiers top 10 ( 2017 ), Top 8 ( 2019 )
3 – Breezer Vivid Shuffle Kolkata qualifiers finalist ( 2018 )
Gunjan Dupta
Faculty of Western Dance
A young and dynamic boy whose extreme passion and love for dance took him to various institution throughout the country, seeking training in diverse style of dance. He learned various skills and techniques of dance from the best teachers in the industry of which Bosco Caesar, Terrence Lewis, & Shamak Davar needs special mention. He feels dance is stress buster and he feel relaxed while dancing. He is a dedicated teacher; and teaches responsibly as he loves doing it than taking it as his profession.
Papu / Disha / Sweta/ Manisha
They were and are our senior students, they have become quite experienced and our choreographers have recommended them to be upgraded as dance assistant. This is an opportunity that we provide to our senior students to gain experience as a teacher.
Neepabithi Ghosh
Faculty of Modern and Western Vocal
Professional singer with more than 16 years experience. With a Gold Medal From Royal School of Music London in Piano, and vocal degree from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Neepabithi has wide exposure to World Music. Her expertise encompasses such diverse musical genre like Rabindra Sangeet, Indian and World Folk songs and fusion music. She has released cd’s on Tagore, Folk and children’s nursery rhymes. Fluent in English, Bengali and Hindi, her association wit Shailee brings in a confluence of myriad musical styles into the purview of the student’s vocal syllabus.
Raj Singh
Faculty of Guitar
Our faculty Raaj Sir is unanimously accepted as one of the best teachers in this region. He is an expert player himself and has several accolades to his credit. Each student is given a separate time and is taught individually during that slot.
Goutam Laha
Faculty of Piano and Synthesizer
A very experienced teacher with 30 years experience in teaching this instrument. He himself has been trained by the masters in this field, Sisir Das, Amar Laha, Pranabesh Bose, Mita Roy. His gentle and loving attitude makes him a favourite among the students. His good teaching style helps students learn fast and develop interest in the instrument.
R C Shamal
Faculty of Flute
Flute is a very uncommon and a very difficult organ to play but has been made simple and enjoyable through his wonderful teaching skill of our faculty Shri R C Shamal (Shamal Sir).
He was an executive of Personnel Dept. of Coal India Limited but he is an artist by heart.
He has achieved Sangeet Visharad in Flute (Classical) from Prachin Kala Kendra Chandigarh.
He has many accolades to his credit, being the national champion in Coal India National Meet is one such.
Students can gain a lot from his experience.
